Pre-medicine UiTM Shah Alam

Peace be upon u =)
In the name of Allah, The most Gracious, The most merciful.

Its been a long time since i didnt updated anything useful in my blog. Previously I was attending the pre-medicine program at UiTM Shah Alam. Alhamdulillah, now the programme had finished and we’ve got only 2 months left before entering the University back.

Before that, maybe it is a bit weird that im starting to use fully english. It is not because im boasting to use english. Nope -____-. It is mainly because i’d find that my performance in using english begin to sag. So, the other way in order to improve my english rather than read and watch eng movies is by also brushing my writing skills.  (feel free to correct my english ok ;) )

Okay, where do i start? Should I tell u about t pre-medicine programme ?
Herm... Maybe i should tell briefly about it.

1. how pre-med was?
Alhmdulilah.. pre-med prog runs smoothly. I've learn a lot of things there. We learn 3 subjects which is physiology, anatomy n biochem. All of them are interesting. When I was about to tell everybody about pre-med programme my heart starts to turn sorrow because of the fact that I will be leaving UiTM soon for USM .Yes, I’d accepted USM. Alhmdulillah and insyaAllah i’ll do my best. Pray for me and wish me luck.
Well, lets just left t story about USM behind. I will tell u about it maybe on t next post okay insyaAllah.. I was goin to say that, this was amongst the BEST experience that i hd been gone through esp the trip to hospital n primary care clinic. Alhmdulillah. Though there are a few weaknesses, but it still can be improve. =)

Conclusion : BEST

2. Is it hard?
Ermm... It will probably become hard if u take it easy ; didnt study. As the kind senior told us that we should at least spend our time on study about 3 hours excluded doing the SGS question (something like tutorial ques). So, depends on urself how you are going to spend ur 3 hrs with books =). As long as u feel comfortable, do it o nur on way okay ;)
Besides, there will be a lot of lecturers n docs that are kind to answer all of ur questions. Also, the PTAR that also will help u a lot in finding an information. (books)

3. The trip to Hospital. Mind share?
Okay, for the trip to the Hospital, u’ll be going to the Hospital based on ur timetable. Basically, 2 groups will be combined and the transportation will be provided by UiTM itself. (UiTM’s buses). U’ll be ask to wait at the bus stop early in the morning. Prepared early so that you wouldnt left behind by t bus. Teehe!

The stuff that u should bring is the LAB COAT. (important asset ; at least can brag being a doc for one day is enough :p)
Other than lab coat, it is on ur on responsibility to bring what u need. (think ppl think!)

Once arrive, ull be separated into 2 groups and each group will be going to follow the one of the  doc assigned for ur group and have a briefing. Shortly, The doctor will bring u round the ward and depends on which department the doc is incharge. =) (orthopedic is cool)

Im not going to tell everything, face it urself and dont make the visit useless, ask question if u r perplexed about anything okay. Make it fun and dont be afraid. The doc didnt eat you. >.<

4. How about exam?
Hurm... Exam should be easy if u study 3 hrs per day. ;p. Hehe. Ok ok,There will be 2 exam on this prog. 1st, OSPE and 2nd MCQ an SAQ.
In the OSPE exam, ull only be ask mainly on the practical part ; anatomy and Lab session.
The Lab staff will be given u a guide before exam. So, no worries. =)
MCQ- Multiple choice question.
SAQ- Short Answer Question.
MCQ- objective question that u should answer it correctly if u dont want to miss one mark by getting it wrong ;p. Sounds tough. insyaAllah if u prepared, it should be easy.
SAQ- Just same as u are answering Foundation’s exam on biology essay.

5. From the programme, what do found/ learn?
I found valuable knowledge
Precious experience
A lot of friend  n value of friendship =’)
The right intention being a doc.

Group 1 yg spastik kata Iman
spastik2 pon still t best =)

Lecture sessions with Dr. Harbindar Jeet sigh. =D

Anat lab session

A month seems like a short duration
we’d build a strong relationship n gain a lot of knowledge within that duration
should we thank Allah for the great moment within that duration
Write bad memories on the sand, so that the wind could fade it,
N carve a good memories on the stone so that it will remain there =)
Alhmdullillah.. till we meet again my dear friends. Gud Luck and All the best! Chaiyo2!
